The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is SoCal Challengers chosen charity and part of our Mission Statement is to raise funds for them. We now have an opportunity to contribute by participating in the Veterans Charity Challenge. Right now, we are the only car club participating in the challenge. Help us stand out. If you cannot make a direct donation, could you please help spread the word about this event? The challenge ends July 3rd, 2013.

    EVENT: Veterans Charity Challenge

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is the nation’s leader in serving wounded or injured United States military personnel and their families. Supporting these heroes helps repay the debt all Americans owe them for the sacrifices they have made in service to our nation.

Over 625,000 service members, nearly one in seven who served, are living with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), the signature wounds of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. In 2010, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund built the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) in Bethesda, MD. NICoE provides the most advanced services for advanced diagnostics, initial treatment plan and family education, introduction to therapeutic modalities, referral and reintegration support for military personnel and veterans with TBI and post-traumatic stress.

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund has recently launched the “Make It Visible” mission, which is a $100 million fundraising campaign to build nine NICoE Satellite Centers across the country. These nine state-of-the-art facilities will provide our returning veterans, suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS), with the highest quality of care that our nation has to offer.

We need your help as 100% of every dollar you donate to the “Make It Visible” campaign will go toward design and construction costs, state-of-the-art equipment, treatment research and so much more. With your help, we can make these invisible signs of war visible.

  5. Car Shows • Spring Fling 2013
So we are one week away from this car show...I didnt find any other thread. The event shows ONLY 3 people signed up to go so far.

Whats going with this one? Are people going? Since I was unable to make spring fest and kiwanis I was hoping this would be a good turn out so I could try and attend.

Its one of the big shows...where is our presence?
