SoCal Challengers Spring 2013 Activities
What a Spring SoCal Challengers is having. Greg Smith put together a fantastic Palm Desert cruise for the club at the beginning of April. Twelve Challengers were cruising through the deserts of California enjoying the Spring weather.
In addition to the cruise, we also attended the Burbank Kiwanis for Fun Foundation's 14th annual car show and the 4th Annual Knights of Columbus Car Show in Alhambra.
For May, we took our Challengers on the track and to car shows. Chris Sawyer and his family went to Willow Springs on the 4th. David McIntosh was scheduled to go, however he was unable to make it. Jesse Iwuji went to No-Fly-Zone 2 in Shafter, CA and had a great time beating a varity of high performance cars including a Dodge Viper. To quote Jesse "Very fun day, I was able to beat in multiple 1/2 mile races these cars: Ferrari 430, 400 HP BMW M3, 720 HP Viper SRT10, 680 HP Ferrari FF, 650 HP Camaro ZL1, and 550 HP Corvette Z06. My challenger beasted the competition and made a statement today." Check out the video that Jesse put together.
We attended Spring Fling in Van Nuys on May 11th. Couldn't make both days because of Mother's Day.
