Spring has sprung and so has the Spring Festival of LX's 10 (#SF10). As usual SoCal Challengers made a strong showing at the event. At last count, we had over 80 cars in attendance from our club alone. Joining us from other clubs were C-4 and Space City LX out ot Texas. Pretty sure it's safe to say that everyone had a good time. If you missed it this year, there is always next. Mark your calender.
Keeping with our club tradition for Spring Festival, we had a new shirt design this year. This year, member Eric Win designed our shirts. Once again Jim Deiss came through as merchandiser, handling the entire order from concept through production. Member Rose Lucero was able to get green, white, and grey SoCal Challengers stickers, which made a lot of members happy. Our club secretary, Greg Smith, has the thankless job of keeping track of our funds, but handles it with skill. Huge thanks to all who made the SoCal Challengers Gear sales at the festival possible. Remember, all proceeds from sales of our merchandise go to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
We also gained quite a few new members during the days of Spring Fest. Keith Leiser brought a bunch of folks from the state of Washington with him and Bryan Rose brought some folks from the Bay Area. Great recruiting job guys! Our new members are Jeff and Tammy Miller, Tyler Chang, Blake Foshie, Mark Welsh, John Dillendel, Chris Vine, Chris Elledge, Jesse Avila and David Millhouse. Welcome all.
